| GT Interactive is getting serious
about spinning its biggest titles into major
merchandising drives. Duke Nukem 3D, which has already
produced a line of merchandise that includes t-shirts,
mouse pads, and mugs, will be at the front of the
expansion campaign for GT Interactive properties. Murray Froikin, vice president of GTŐs enterprise group, says that plans are in the works for a collectible Duke sculpture, and that negotiations are underway to bring the Groovy One to the big screen. GT has enlisted merchandising group International Creative Exchange to represent Duke Nukem, Unreal, SPQR, and other high-profile titles.Daniel Morris |
